MUGIC® Quick Start Project
IMPORTANT:
Please visit Turning MUGIC® on before following along this page. Once you understand the basics of how to:
Turn MUGIC on,
Connect to MUGIC Wi-Fi network. It will look like MugicConnectxxxxxx (e.g. MugicConnect1a2b3c, 6 alpha numerals)
For using multiple MUGICs with MUGIC2 (for MUGIC1 please see Legacy Quick Start)
Go to BLE Configurator page and follow the instruction:
Don’t forget to press the ‘Mode button’ on the right side to switch from WIFI-AP mode to Client mode. The bottom LED will switch from blue 🔵 Wi-Fi AP Mode to purple 🟣 Wi-Fi Client Mode.
You will be ready to start your first MUGIC® project!
MUGIC2_Example Quick Start Projects
For Max users:
Download Max (if you don't already have it)
For using one MUGIC, open MaxSingleMUGIC
First download MugicConnectStarterSingle2024.zip
Then download MugicExamplesMax.zip
Place both folders inside Users/Document/Max 8/ Projects folder. If the Projects folder doesn't exist, please create one inside the Max 9 folder. Max 9 users, your folder might look like "Max 9."
The MUGIC_RecordPlayback2024.maxpat file is for you to record and playback yoru video, audio, and movement simultaneously.
For using multiple MUGICs, open MaxMultipleMUGICs
First download MugicConnectMulti2025.zip
Then download MugicStarterMulti.zip
Place both folders inside Users/Document/Max 8/ Projects folder. If the Projects folder doesn't exist, please create one inside the Max 9 folder. Max 9 users, your folder might look like "Max 9."
For Ableton Users:
Download Ableton (if you haven't already)
Download MugicConnectStarterExample_11 Project.zip
